I live on Kingshighway. I swear this wasn't me. Really.

I don't happen to know, never tried it. Does your odometer go in reverse if you're driving backwards? If so, it's a wonder we don't see this more often.

Probably a Ferengi. St. Louis is a collection point for off-worlders.

Maybe it was a Brit. You know how they put the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. Maybe one of them thought that's how you're supposed to drive in America.

We have to get Los Lobos to work a lyric in on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjq4y9EFLMA

It used to be a favourite trick of used car lots to jack up the drive wheels off the ground and run the car in reverse for a long time to unwind the odometer. Can't be done with the newer odometers, but there may be some computer hack that can change the odometer reading. Crooks are endlessly inventive!

When I was 18 I ran the hardware department of a WT Grants department store. Whenever cheap power drills went on sale , local car dealers would race in to clean me out. I'm not sure how they were used to reset odometers, but......[:(][:(]

They would hook them up to the odometer cable and run the drill in the desired direction. [:-]

That was better than that movie I won't mention. That is an alternative fact.
