Confused on all the different versions

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

Confused on all the different versions

Post by Flaurez »

New to the party here, I just bought Panzer Corps: Allied Corps during the Christmas sale, and I may have been slightly confused on what I was actually buying. The sheer number of titles in this series is somewhat perplexing to me. Did I buy a "base game" to which I can purchase and add DLC's to? If so which ones can I add? Are there restrictions? Would I have been better off buying the vanilla "Panzer Corps" - the initial title - and then go from there with DLCs? I'm hoping to add things to Allied Corps, but I want to keep it in one install location, not several "stand alones" which don't connect to eachother...Quite surprised this isn't explained anywhere.

On the bright side I'm loving this game so far!

When you buy Panzer Corps or the DLC's just point it to your Allied Corps folder.
