Be able to play all the original Lnl boardgames in this game

Get ready for Mark H. Walker's Lock ‘n Load: Heroes of Stalingrad. This is the first complete computer game in the Lock ‘n Load series, covering the battles in and around Stalingrad during World War II.

I get the correct splash screen when it starts but when I try to play a game there are no scenarios to choose from nor campaigns. In my original install there is a maps folder in the main game folder. I deleted the files in it.

There is also a map folder inside the art folder. Should I have deleted thosae files in there too?

One question for maitrebongo.Your mods contain the original scenarios(and maps) of the board game?
I'm mainly interested to WWII.

After having made a copy of the original game installation folder, delete all the files in the "Maps" folder in that new installation folder.
Then unzip the downloaded file ("Cold-War-Mod.zip"). You should get four extracted folders ("art", "maps", "Mod Heroes of the Gap Honneur et Patrie" and "Stalingrad") and a file ("modules.dat"). Just copy these folders and file to the new installation folder.

First, you have not to erase anything in the original folder of your game.

1 you make a copy of your folder from the original game (and after you no longer touch this original folder)

2 you delete the contents of the maps folder in the copy of the original folder (to make disappear the original scenarios of the copy) which is at the root of the copied folder (not the one in the art folder)

3 you extract the .zip archive to the copied folder by overwriting (replacing) the files when requested.
The new scenarios (.map) are no more located in the maps folder, but directly in the Mod Heroes of the Gap Honneur et Patrie folder.

4 You play the new game by double clicking on the LockNLoad.exe file in the copied folder.

It should work like that.
If no, let me know

I'm working on a more refined version of the mod that will be simpler to install. I'll post it as soon as it's ready.

My mods contain all the original boardgames maps (except the Noville maps, disappeared in a relocation) and all the original scenarios as well as some published on the web or in specialized magazines (with the exception of those of Heroes of pacific for which I made a call for someone to send me).
Nevertheless, I have to remake them all because initially I built them in a sloppy way just for fun. To be clear and precise, they must be reviewed one by one. I will post them as a pack to add to the mod when it is done (nothing forbids those who want to do this job on the basis of the scenarios that they possess or even to invent new ones, the editor Is fully functional in new mods)

HOS Lock N Load has been on my hard drive for years and still play it allot. I helped Mark Walker play test the scenarios before he released the game to the Public. It was fun then to play and is even more Fun now that Maitre put life back into this game again. The 1st Scenario I play from Maitre is Amazing with the New Sound Effects and New Counters! I cant wait for more!! Thank you Again!

Sounds good. I appreciate the effort. I rarely have problems getting things to work but am having them now. I'll just wait and do a fresh install when you get that done.

Thanks again to those that tried to help and to you maitrebongo. I have always liked how HoS was made and wished it was further developed. Your mod is a huge step in that direction it would seem.

There are no stupid questions. Only stupid people.

I may be that person because I'm on a fresh install. 1.0.1.0.

Edit:
That was it. I updated and installed the mod with no problems.

Yes, i think so, because there is a lot of program modifications and files organization between 1.01 and 1.10 versions.
And my mods are done with the 1.10 version (the last one).

Glad to hear that everything is back in order.

HoG 02 First Probe.

Is this correct? It's been a while so I don't remember how AFV's work but why does it say less than -50?

Also, how many scenarios should I have so far of your modules? I have 5 right now and one that is a blank map. Is this correct?

Thanks.

Works fine for me... (i just test it on a fresh install)

Are you sure your game is original and patched in version 1.10 ?

Normally, nothing gets into the maps folder of the art folder.
The folder whose contents you need to delete is the maps folder in the root of the folder you just copied.
The Heroes of the Pacific maps (.bmp) are in the Mod Heroes of the Pacific folder (Their path has been changed when creating .mpp files)
