Transport Overload?

Post by Mr.Frag »

Way back in UV, lots of additional transports were added due to people treating them poorly and finding out that you really can't win the game without the ability to move your troops around ;)

Is WitP going to be more historical in this like UV was originally before the extra ships were added? Transport management and proper care and feeding seems to be an integral part of these games, and people who treat them like mere rice movers should pay the price somewhere. In UV as it sits, loosing a couple dozen AP's means nothing as there is always plenty more around the corner. Just strikes me a wrong...

I didn't think extra APs were added. I thought that the chance of them being released was bumped up.

That was my recollection as well.

The intention in WITP is to make as many of the historical transports available that were actually used in the Pacific/Indian theatre.

A lot of testing will then be needed to make sure it all fits together.

No small task but someone's got to do it. :)

There were not any APs added. The OOBs in the historical scenarios are historical.
