Will Germany do a combined impulse or a land?

Ahead of the land moves there will be three ground strikes:
Stuka
Do-17m
105mm (3-3)

Maybe use the Italian bomber instead of the ART? That way it can join the attack? Maybe give support across the river? Both the 4 and the 3 strength ART firing support against Brussels is more than halfway to one more in odds.ORIGINAL: warspite1

So how about replacing the ART with the Italian bomber?

Don't we have to declare war with Italy for that? Even if not, I'd rather keep something back. If this attack fails (and based on my recent throws there is nothing to suggest otherwise) then the French could have +3 on the hex southeast of Brussels.
The counter to that of course is the fact that I would then be relying on fractional odds to get 4:1. Having said that I just did a run through where I was 2 short of 4:1 and the fractional odds throw failed [:(]
Okay if we don't need Italy to declare on Belgium, swap the Alcione for the Art.

Italy is automatically at war with all minors aligned to CW and France since Italy is at war with those two Major Powers.Don't we have to declare war with Italy for that?

What do you reckon - 3 fighters? (two 5's and the 3). That leaves 2 + the Italian for future.

Italy did a rare land impulse and has only one air move then. So the Italian fighter is out and can not rebase closer to the front. [:(]ORIGINAL: warspite1

I would only use two fighters. The Bf 110C is only good against unescorted bombers. I rather count it as a bomber.
Edit: The Italian fighter will be able to rebase next impulse but that is not much help.

True but the French are in the same position. Let's go for 2 x 5 and the 4.

But two 5s and a 3 gives +1.5 so that sounds like a plan.

I am more concerned that with the Spitfires in England, the French and CW will then have a slight air superiority.ORIGINAL: warspite1

I could only see one. So we would have a 5 + 4 vs their 5 For the French it would be 5 + 4 vs their 3 + 3.

Yes. Only one. I used plural because that counter contains some 200+ fighters, mostly Spitfires. I do, however, try to avoid doing that.ORIGINAL: warspite1
