I am more concerned that with the Spitfires in England, the French and CW will then have a slight air superiority.
warspite1

I could only see one.
Yes. Only one. I used plural because that counter contains some 200+ fighters, mostly Spitfires. I do, however, try to avoid doing that.
warspite1

Okay lets sleep on it. The air position is only going to get worse for Germany though.....

Another subject. It would be nice to transfer the German naval air to the Med for next impulse. And I could use another air move for the German air transport. I don't suppose that you have two air moves over for the Italian front. [:D]

That's why it is nice to build so many pilots the first turn. Insurance, so to speak.

Although I have a good feeling about this. Maybe I should begin to quote Baldrick now? [;)]

Do I hear a 'cunning plan' heading in this general direction? [:D]

I am making some Italian land moves that depend on that the German ATR is available to transport the Italian MTN this impulse. I trust that the ATR + 1 air move is still reserved for Italian use this impulse. Or operation Island Jump will be delayed.

So can I go ahead with liberating Mare Nostrum?

Yes - happy with that. However we need to co-ordinate as that Italian fighter could be important.

The Italian fighter can not move this impulse. [:(] But should become active after that.

I know that is what I mean by co-ordination! - especially at the moment when things could quite easily go either way.

Alas, Italy only has one air move on a land impulse and that was used for the ground strike. [:(]

Air Transport:
The German ATR in La Spezia load the Italian MTN and transport it to Olbia, Sardinia. It then returns to La Spezia.

Land Combat:
Japan attacks Kweilin and Yamamoto provides HQ support. (Odds should be 3:1)

Air Rebase:
The 4 strength Ki-27 rebase to Hengyang.

That didn't go all that well. [:(]

But it isn't all that bad for Axis. Or at least not for Germany. [:)]

Germany has so far suffered minor losses and we are not yet behind our schedule. Things could be far worse. The loss of the pilot hurts but the fighter was expendable. The main cause for concern is that we didn't eliminate any CW pilots so they will reappear in their new toys so we have to begin with shooting them down again.

Japan isn't all that bad either. But what looked like a nice enough beginning in China has changed to a slow and expensive campaign.

Lastly, Italy, I think has major concerns but, at least, they have fun. [:)] Until, of course, they actually try to launch an attack. [:D]

Well I admire your optimism but, having seen the French reinforcements, you'll have to forgive me if I don't currently share that opinion while I sulk my a**e off [:D].

It is indeed disappointing when good plans and good attacks go down the drain. But the situation still looks well enough. So sulk, if you like, for a few minutes while you create Machiavellian plans and schemes to achieve our goal of world domination.

I'm twirling my moustache (in a Machiavellian styleee) even as we speak.
