Possible to add core units?

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Possible to add core units?

Is it possible to add core units once a campaign is under way? I see you can change any unit to any unit no matter what type the original unit was, but is there a way to buy new units?

Sorry, no. The only way right now to make a larger core group is to buy a bunch of cheap units and upgrade them later. Beware though that the computer's purchase power is proportional to the value of your core forces and reinforcement.

No, it is not possible. But, in my oppinion, that makes the choice of the core units at the begining of the campaing all the more exciting. Have I made the right choice ? Haven't I forgotten something important ? ;)
