Psei River from the German Side

Post by Dietrich53 »

Day 18, short before dusk.
The Russians had tried in vain to break my line and now the night of the long knifes loomes. It will be brutal!

Nice picture. There has been a lot of fighting there. Push push push. [:)]

The night was and still is very brutal! (I like to play with counter set, too)

Is that the new mod by ASL3D? Is the terrain a mixture of the ASL mod by JMass and some of the original game?
Thanks.

The counters are from ASL3D, but I tweaked the colors and the appearance a little bit. I really don't know exactly where the map comes from initially. Could be JMass. I added smaller counters and also changed some terrain to my taste.

Sorry, I have no modding experience. I really like the ASL3D unit counters but would prefer the look of your terrain. So what do I have to do to combine both? Thanks in advance.

Download the file "terain.pmg" from the link and replace the original with it.

Turn 28. Down to two tanks. Heavy losses on both sides.

Turn 30. It is really heating up. I can't imagine what will happen in the remaining 18 (!!) turns!
(I am still fiddling around with the counter set. As a veteran ASL player I like the original appearance of the AFV counters. I also like that the leader counter is smaller and one can see the squad/half squad underneath)

Thanks for the nice comments!
