Steve, just so you know. The beta patch corrects a problem with the proper unrep using Allied AE's. I know that's quite a way off considering you can't even get started. For future reference you should consider using the beta.

Thanks. Yes I HAVE been using it. And I've offered to use it. And make any other changes necessary to get this show rolling along. I've learned Gorns are deaf. Gorns are stubborn. So.....I'm still waiting. And stewing. And waiting.........

Steve I think you did not end the turn, just saved it and returned it to the Gorn. You will need to end the turn and then send it to him.

That's easy. Shoot the master 1st. Then pick up the pebble. Don't forget , he comes to a bad end in the movie. [:(]

Yes. It was a two hour pilot. It did well enough that the next year the network picked up the series. That's where all the "flash backs" are from.

Kung Fu - Pilot (1972)

Kung Fu: The Movie (1986)

Trivia: Bruce Lee, auditioned for the lead role in the original "Kung Fu" TV series in the 1970's but Carradine got the role instead.

Cheers,
Reg.

Today it would be called whitewashing.

IIRC Carradine has some Chinese heritage.

When the series came on TV when I was a kid, I remember being told that his mother was Chinese. It seems it was a widespread myth.

I seem to remember hearing that before. I don't think this is 'whitewashing' per se.

Bruce Lee was a superb martial artist, but a lousy actor. David Carradine a better actor, but mediocre martial artist. The directors and / or producers made a business decision based upon the quality of the show they thought most likely.

Still, it would have been fun to see Bruce Lee more often in his prime. [8D]
