Italian and Japanese instructions for the remainder of the impulse.

Land Combat:

All the Japanese forces surrounding Kweilin attack except the light AA division. Attack should be exactly 7:1 or 56:8. No air support for this attack.

Japan makes another attack in the North where The General, Hakushaku Terauchi Hisaichi takes personal control of the attack against the Kunming militia. All forces adjacent to the militia join the attack and the odds before air support is 12:2. The airwing in Changsha support the attack with additional 2 points and the final odds is 14:2 or exactly 7:1. The bomber returns to Changsha after it has completed its mission.

In the attack against the Militia the division is designated as loss unit. The 2nd Motorised Army advance into the combat hex regardless of result. If the Division is available then it advances into the hex as well.

In the attack against Kweilin the 33rd garrison army is designated loss unit. The two units SE of the city advance into Kweilin regardless of the result. And the 12th Infantry Army advance into the city if it has become disorganized.

Air rebase:

The Italian Ca. 133 rebase to Cologne and join the German paratroopers. If Germany so approves. If the German ATR is instead rebased to Cologne then the Italian rebase to La Spezia instead.

The last Italian air move can be used to rebase the Italian fighter in Belgium.

Reorganization:

If the units attacking Kweilin becomes disorganized then Umezu reorganize three Army or Corps sized units.

Orm in respect of my post on the main thread, if you want to take this forward tonight then I am okay with this. Simply put:

3 bombers fly in support of the attack.

Both the German Me-109 and Italian FTR fly if the CW FTR flies. Only the Me-109 flies if just the bombers fly.

No HQ Support

The three HQ can reorganise every land unit.

I think we should wait until you can take full command of the action. This battle is to important. And hopefully fun. [:)]

I hadn't allowed for the Germans not being disorganised.

Do you think I should keep von Rundstedt face up for a possible Offensive Chit?

I have used von Leeb and von Bock and we have organised:

- 2 x Stuka and
- 2 x Me-110

I could get a Me-109 and a Ju-88 organised

Why reorganize the Me-110?

Edit: The obvious answer arrived late. They were never disorganized.

Nah. Bad weather can arrive. Use von Rundstedt for reorganization.

And the bad weather duly came. That is a real shame as Gort and the Hurricane were looking in trouble. The French should be able to move west of Brussels and a couple of decent British units can then land west of Antwerp. Rats.

Still - at least we made some progress... even if China was a disappointment again.

I am pretty sure that Japan will make a combined impulse. I suspect Italy as well. But it will be a while before I look at the actual save. How do you propose we do our impulse?

I'm not sure what to do for the best. Save the aircraft on the off chance there will be better weather/the turn won't end OR go for opportunities regardless.

We are at impulse 6 so I am inclined to go for it and not wait.

I say that we wait and chance that we get another impulse and better weather.

It is more likely than not that we get at least one more impulse.

Raid the North Sea with the long range U-boat?

Wait to see if we get another impulse before deciding if we strat bomb Lille and Rouen?
