After some instructions I got the oil use screen to look like this. (Two oil used for production and two sent to Italy. The remaining 6 are shown as available for oil use)

Is this good enough?

If so I can post instructions on how to achieve it later. I will be back in a couple of hours. A few errands to do.

Yes thank-you. If you can show me how to get that to work that would be great as I can then use the 0.4 for free. Oil remains tight but hopefully manageable dice depending.

I will complete my orders once I can work this through.

The German preliminary list should look something like this. Changing 4 oil is the important changes.

The resource list should now be changed to something like this.

Now make sure that the German and Austrian oil are saved where they should be. And that they are not going for production. Then check that Germany produce for 18 factories and that only the Turkish resource is idle.

I say that it is still a chance for that. At least there is nice weather.

Game 2:

I've pondered on this for a while now. And here is my current thoughts.

Germany could take a 'normal' land impulse and reorganize the offending units in the front line. Bomb the Allied lines. And possibly reorganize one of the bombers. The best German HQ should remain organized so that the possibility to play an offensive with it remains.

Meanwhile Germany could send more 'secondary' units towards the fronts so that a low odds attack on the Maginot line can be attempted by them if the opportunity arrives.

And Italy should be prepared to make low odds attacks into the Italian Alps. If such attack is successful it should be reinforced by German units.

Yep, that is my conclusion. I will try and groundstrike the French and British ART and see what happens...

Are you starting the impulse? If so then can you hand back at ground strike please?

I cannot look at this at the moment. I am too busy pulling my hair out over the **** ing convoy system. I don't think I am going to be able to play the CW at this rate, its just too painful. [:(]

It is indeed a pain. But put out the convoy points as it should work and I am sure that we can get most of it to work. AllenK and I have had some practice with it by now so I am sure that we can solve most issues.

No point in putting to much energy into resource routing before France is in the war anyway. The French entry into the war is likely to screw things up again. And it might not get easier before France and CW can co-operate.

I think you can find several suggestions on how to place the convoy lines in the forum. Or I can look up a picture to base the convoy lines on if you tell me what variant you prefer.

I will have a look at this game but to be honest I don't think I will have any requirements for the Italians. I don't believe there is a feasible attack on so its more a case of preparing for the next Allied attack - which may come this turn although more worrying would be them getting the initiative again next turn.

I can't really think of anything here. I don't want to use up my last Stuka or fighter as there is still the possibility of a French attack this turn. There is no real room for manoeuvre on the aircraft front either as the presence of British and French artillery makes them vulnerable.

I can get three units into all key hexes, but otherwise....

Boy do we need the initiative.....
