Program Crash after air-air

Post by ashkpa »

Hello,

I am getting a repeatable program crash at the end of an air-air combat, this is with the current public beta 2.3.9. Game file attached.
1) Open the file, close the Italian intercept phase.
2) Accept the first A-A combat phase. Set the allied A-A roll to 10 (clears the Stuka) and then the axis A-A roll to 10.
3) Originally I had both sides aborted before the 2nd round. I also tried having the Italians stay and the Russians abort. It should fail with either.
4) Return the RU fighter to Moscow and the Italian fighter the hex 2 distant east and north of the A-A combat (on top of axis units).
5) Close the return to base digression. At this point I have gotten a crash every time (for some reason, the game does not see my default email settings and will not allow me to sent and email with the crash information).

I hope it is repeatable for others. I have run through 3 times, then rebooted my machine and ran through it a 4th time. Same result.

Note, I got by this by reverting back to 2.3.6 (it also seems to be going through the phases quicker).

Probably relationated bug with the sequence of air air combat, version 2.3.9, solitaire mode, figth the combats and before the last the game crash no matter the order of the combats. It sounds like similar bug of the past. I reload the version 2.3.6 and the game worked correctly.
Attached saved game.

Similar situation for me.

I will be going back to 2.3.6, as well.
