can not load scenarios

Hi,
I have Command loaded via Steam on 5k i7 IMAC via bootcamp and windows 10. I had previously used Command on an older Mac with no problems. All updates are loaded (windows, steam, command, etc)

When I start the program via steam, I get the initial screen that gives me the option of "Play Command Modern ....operations" or go to "Command Live"
When I hit play, it initially shows the picture of the Type 42 DDG, but does not show the menu buttons to the right (start game, load a saved game, etc). It then goes straight to the view of the globe with the UI.

Once in this globe view, you cant do much. If you go to file/start menu or load it locks up.

Any help? I have uninstalled the game via steam and downloaded and installed, but I have the same issue. BTW, aesthetically, the game looks fine, no issues with 5k resolution, etc.

Is the DPI scaling level set to 100%? If not please set it to 100%.

What's you desktop resolution?

Resolution: 1920 x 1200

Just to be clear, the icon of the type 42 that briefly comes up, that does not show the buttons on the side, automatically then loads to the global UI screen I described. So I am unsure if its a display issue. Again, I appreciate your help with this. While I am big on nostalgia, having gotten a taste of Command, does make it hard to go back to Harpoon Classic!

Please try the following steps:
Step 1: Run the game as Administrator

- Right-click the game in your Steam Library.
- Go to Properties, then to the Local Files tab.
- Click Browse Local Files.
- Locate the game executable (the application file).
- Right-click it and go to Properties.
- Click the Compatibility tab.
- Check the "Run this program as an administrator" box.
- Click Apply. Having done this, restart Steam and try launching the game again.


Step 2: Run Steam as Administrator

- Navigate your Steam installation file (By default, it is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).
- Right-click the Steam executable.
- Follow the above steps to set it to Run as Administrator.
- Restart Steam.

Did both step 1 and 2, no change.

Please make sure you've got all prereqs installed. You an run them manual from the Prerequisites folder ( C:\Matrix Games\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\PreRequisites ). Pretty sure this release had a new .net so that could be it.

In the Command game directory, there is a Command.INI file. Edit the file and add the line below to the [Game Preferences] section
LogDebugInfoToFile = True

When starting up Command, this should log exceptions to a file 'ExceptionLog.txt' in the Logs folder of the Command folder.

That may indicate what it is failing on.
