Who was the poor bugger that you were playing and how far into the game did you get?

Ill leave the honourable gentlemans name anon, as he displayed all the desirable attributes we all look forward too, reliable turns, understanding when E mail glitches occurred, and very funny name calling and threatening.
we only got about 2 months in, interestingly wobbly, I used the exact same master plan on him as failed so far against you, a very very quick grab of PM,GG, dobadura and buna, and lunga, which saw heaps of A/C caught on the ground at PM, plus regiments lost.
His CVs came out to play, we exchanged strikes, he lost 1 sunk, the other basically out of the war, I had 1 damaged
I cant remember too well, but several nasty surface actions, and my CVs staying in the area saw quite a few CAs and DDs sunk trying to support PM

He invaded Rennell Island, 2 regiments, and again lost heavily, even as this happened I took espirito and was well into Lunganville, when his reinforcements 2CV,6CA turned up, only to get sunk straight away.

I think He surrendered more in shock than anything
Anyway, he is a very good fun opponent, and we are going to swap sides, so I can show him how the Allies should do it:D

Personally I think it was one of those games where I had all the luck, plus some.

Bah, no reason not to post his name. No shame in losing an honourably fought game.
