An attack from Ryujo failed to get any hits on the Houston.

Landings look pretty good gorn, but it doesn't seem like you hurt his navy much. Not to mention his air, all those unaffected search assets may come back to haunt you. Where the heck the KB go, the world wonders.[:D]

Canton is a bridge too far in my view. It would just be the first thing he took back. It would be unsupported. Would it be the basis of a trap for his CVs? I play against myself and in my mind that just doesn't compute. As far as hurting his navy, I got Force Z, for whom I have the utmost respect. Historically the Japanese didn't hurt the American Navy very badly, just delayed the deployment of some mobile artillery batterys. The Americans won't really be needing those for a while anyway. Rabaul shortly will be mine. When I focus my wrath on the USN I will have all the oil I will ever get. Everything went according to plan except I didn't get the Houston.

Another thing about those mobile artillery batteries. It will be some time before the US has placed enough fuel forward for those battlewagons to be able to operate. It will happen, but in June maybe, or later still.

I sent several clouds of fighters to sweep over Luzon and nothing came up to meet them. That could be because he grounded them (which I would consider to be perhaps quite clever) or he immediately began evacuating his fighters from the Phillipines to ultimately, Oz, which is what I always did when playing that side and I would totally approve. Similarly I would remove all the B-17s because I just wouldn't have enough Catalinas.

Next target is Palembang. The CLs guarding it are sunk so the way is clear. Then Djambi and Borneo and Java's not far behind. The force that shortly will take Manado will reship and assault Ambon.

Hey Gorn,

I've decided that I will no longer be following your AAR. Best wishes here.

I'm going to be hanging out with the Yellow running Allied dog on his AAR and I'd like to reduce the perception of conflict of interest.

Besides, you smell like old fish.

Regards,

Chickenboy

I accept the complement. I use old fish to smell out stinkers like you.
