Question on Senarios List

Post by mglshark »

Long time player EF, WF, etc. Wondering if the FTR (fall of the Reich) scenarios & link campaigns ever made it to the John Tiller game collection.
I look online at old posts, people talk about it coming but no idea if I have it as part of the latest update. If it did, is there a list somewhere?

Thanks

Hi Marc,

Do you recall any specific scenarios by name and/or campaigns included, happy to check that for you whether included or not

Thanks for the fast response. Searching the web nowhere I can find a list of extra scenarios or campaigns add on. I have all the older talonsoft editions except FTR. From the description online when it came out: "Players receive three extra campaigns and 17 stand-alone scenarios as the Allies close in on Berlin. New features include Maus tanks, night fighting with flares." I thought I read online a while back somebody else pose the same question and was answered that the additional add on pack would be included in a future update. Any ideas?

Thanks

Does any of you Old Timers hanging around here remember the Fall of the Reich expansion CD? I only ever had the original East Front II box and then the Campaign Series Gold compilation, where everything was already meshed together.

Fall of the Reich campaign for instance was both on Talonsoft EFII Gold and Matrix JTCS EFII... Again, unfortunately don't have any of the original expansion CDs...

Edit: I'll pop a question at The Blitz, if you can't get the answer from there, there is no answer [:D]

mglshark & Crossroads,

Yes I remember the old FoTR expansion disk from the early '90's.

In fact I still think I have it around here somewhere.

From what I remember FoTR scenarios were included in EFII 1.03 when that came out in the early to mid 2000's.

Then 1.03 became 1.04 and evolved over a couple of updates to the 2.02 version most of us now use. So yes I can say with a degree
of certainty that those early scenarios are contained within what is now EFII.

If I can find it and get my current Win7 machine to read it I will check. But fear not, believe it or not I still have a Win98
machine still running! I'm sure that will read it.[:'(]

Thanks

I checked my current EF directory against FOTR CD. Everything appears to be there but I cannot be certain that I did not manually copy in after original install. List of FOTR scenarios and LCG's below.
