Odd file behaviour

Post by CanInf »

Hi, I am hoping someone can confirm this file's behaviour. The file is a land combat declaration autosave for the Axis. The file opens OK, but please try the following:

1. End the current phase or subphase. It should go to Japan.
2. save the file
3. Re-open the file you just saved

When I do the above the current major power is China, not Japan. China has been conquered in this game, and the game can't move on. Does this happen for others?

This game also becomes impossible to play if you carry on to USSR production. Any saved file after that point does not open, in spite of the fact you can continue playing (though the games stability is poor). I have a feeling the issues are related.

thanks!

Yes, I tried your file and I'm seeing the same thing as you described.
