The turn is now with Geoff. Sorry for the delay , but life intrudes. And , after all , this is my 1st real turn that I can do stuff, and there's one hell of a lot to do. [:D]

Most of my turn consisted of bringing units to life. And evacuating as many ships as I can. Except the Manila based ships. And everything around there. Those are being brought into Manila , then disbanded. I'm going to concentrate all my fighters there to cover the fleet till the CV's leave. But every single sub that I have is going KB hunting. If he wants to stick around and try and attack my ports , it will cost him aircraft and pilots , and every day he sticks around means more and more torpedos will shot at his CV's. A lot of those torpedos work, and even the ones that don't (normally) could be lucky. Plus as someone correctly pointed out , every time he sees one of his CV's in a periscope with a sub taking a shot at him will put his heart in his mouth. Let's see how many scares he takes before he decides the game isn't worth the candle. [:D][:D]

It looks like he's planning to cut Malaya into tiny little pieces. And he's trying to grab small, scattered bits of the DEO. ISOLATED bits. As in , not close enough to be mutually supporting. I hear a great opportunity to employ "Steve's Island principals". [:D][:D] Rule number one "If the island isn't big enough to hold at least a full division ,and it's not close enough for other bases to help out, then it's not a good place to defend". My patented treatment is , if it's a 6k or less capacity , invade with a regiment , kill everything on it , and evacuate. Do not repair , do not land supplies , just change the flag and go. If you need to base PBY's , then move in a tender. And run away if he comes back. Make him have to land , repair , supply and garrison the island. Then , when the time is right , land your regiment again, kill everything in sight and tear the place up. Run up the flag, salute , then evacuate. Rinse and repeat as many times as he's stupid enough to let you. [:D][:D]

It's not hard either. A slow thinking green skin small dinosaur that can't even beat a paunchy Canadian pretending to be a guy from Iowa! [:D]

I really , really , really hate auto-correct, and auto-fill. I'm quite capable of making my own typo's and screw ups. I really don't need any help.

What I wanted to say is DEI. There, I said it. [:(][:D]

I checked out the website and there's a tab on the home page: DEI: Planning a visit. I think the Gorn may have checked this out too... [X(]

Maybe not, but it could sink the North Carolina.

Geoff missed Houston. She ran into Manila bay at full speed, auto disband. She now has a sizable DD escort of four piper USN and the older HK 3 destroyers. Every fighter in the PI is defending her. And there's a Jap CA with a couple of DD's headed for Manila. "Come into my parlour , said the spider to the fly".

There's CV's to the north of the PI and CV's to the south. I think I'll just hang here in Manila. I'm giving the crews liberty in Olapoongo. [:D][:D]

In the meanwhile , my remaining warships and merchants are scattered and trying to escape as single ship sailings. The KB will get some , but I'm betting Geoff's getting fed up at see entire alpha strikes unload on a little tramp AKL. He's got to be out of fish on his CV's by now. And my subs are mobbing the waters in which he sails. [:D][:D]
