This would put a M4 Jess tank charge to shame.
Northen recon elements spot 40 thats right 40 Pz-IVhs in a formation heading our way ( I should have bought some 155mm )
A call has been put out armor from all parts of the battle field is in route to meet the the Germans. All mortars are called in to no effect
To you General Overlord

Rolling forward in the North.. managed to kill a 105mm M4 and a M8, lost a Kubel to a bazooka team
Pretty upset on the darn recon units in the south getting knocked out with NO return fire at all sheesh! Couldn't they see the 76mm Sherman? After all they are RECON units...known for thier observation skills...unless these guys are from Aufklarung "Helen Keller"

40 TANKS !
Sgt Jackson, I don't care how many tanks there are hold fire until given the command to fire ! I can't blame them for being nervous 40 German tanks are causing the ground to shake from the shear weight of the formation, a Hellcat pops up frpm behind the ridge, two shots later a Pz-IVh is burning. Another M4105 sends 105mm crashing into the side of two more Pz-IVs. A M4(76mm) pops from behind a hill and scores another kill. Then it get taken out by German return fire. Two more Hellcats and another Sherman take there shots at the German horde all regester kills.
Sgt Jackson, fire at will, Sgt Jackson commands two AT guns that have been holding fire. Carefully he picks the best targets among the confused and scrambling Germans, between the two 57mm AT guns APCR rounds tear though at least 4 more PZ-IVhs. The front of the German tank force is sitting on top of a on call arty grid 4.2 inch rains all into the formation not causing any visable damage. The air force is called into the mess, 4 planes come streaking in to help. Doging multiple AA guns and Flak Panzers, one of the 4 get shot down. The others take out two more tanks.
Recon from the planes shows that all the tank kills are only about 1/4 of the force:eek:
Up and down the line the command is hold, help is on the way from other parts of the battle field.
German 150mm shells land wrecking a AT gun, and in the south German 81s kill a Greyhound. Several Panthers are spotted in the middle and south.

Sgt Jackson are you all right ! Sir, we have some wounded but we still have ammo and lots of targets. Keep firing ! Help will come.
More Pz-IV join the pile about 5 more. The the Germans pop smoke. Need to relocate quick, there is going to be lots of German tanks rolling through at close range.
Sir this just in from the center, several Panthers and a Tiger are in woods waiting in ambush. Direct the 81s to there pause, maybe we can make them move. In the south all is quite.
Infantry push foward all along the front with light contact.
At the end of the turn smoke is dropped by the German all along the front.

Six or Seven more Pz-IVhs die to US tanks set up in secondary fighting positions in the North not sure how many more are up in the North, I'm getting thin so I hope not to many more.
In the center a Tiger gets hit with several 105mm and 76mm AP rounds but the Tiger just shrugs them off:eek:
