Variable Victory Points

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi,

Maybe VP locations could be worth different amounts of VP's at varying times in the game. E.G. Location 1 is worth 1000 VP's from 0800 to 1200 for the NATO player but only 600 VP's for the WP player for the same timeframe. Then from 1201 to 2000 the location VP value drops to 500 for NATO but increases to 1000 for the WP. NATO is rewarded for early occupation and WP is rewarded for prolonged defence. Same idea for EXIT points -- exit sooner and get more points or accept fewer points later in the game. Another variable for commanders to agonize over.
You get the idea....

We are hoping to have a way to do those kinds of things. I would like to shift objectives mid-mission or have a new objective pop up. Those kind of things. So it is something on our radar. [8D]
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!
