I think I have a bad UV disk

Post by RetiredNavy »

I recently bought a copy of UV. It is version 2.0 and I have down loaded all the patched that apply.
I upgraded my machine and the game won't work. I have an AMD 1800. 1.4meg ram, nvidia 64meg card and a fusion sound card. The game will load, and allow me to pick a scenerio but then the sound goes nuts. Also I cannot get the auto run to start. The cd will auto run on other disks but not this one. I can't force it to auto run by using the run menu. Any ideas??????

For audio:

Start -> Run: type "dxdiag" and hit enter. Click the "Sound" tab and move the audio acceleration slider all the way left. The game has problems running when audio or video hardware is enabled on some systems. Failing that, try getting an updated audio driver from the manufacturer's website.

As for autoplay, just make yourself a toolbar shortcut (right-click the "uncommonvalor.exe" file and drag it onto your toolbar. choose "create shortcut here"). It's much faster anyway. :)
I give approximately two fifths of a !#$% at any given time!
