Soon?

Korsun Pocket is a the second game using the award winning SSG Decisive Battles game engine. Korsun Pocket recreates the desperate German attempt to escape encirclement on the Russian Front early in 1944. The battle is a tense and exciting struggle, with neither side having a decisive advantage, as the Russians struggle to form the pocket, then try to resist successive German rescue efforts and last ditch attempts at breakout.

I think David Heath mentioned somwhere it should be out in the first week of July. Typical - the week I am going off to the country for some camping, the game I have waited 5 years for is released, I wanna be here for the party :-)

Hi Guys

The game should be shipping from our new store in about 3 weeks and about 4 - 5 weeks in the stores. Our UK partner Just Play should have the game available 5-6 weeks. Sorry for the delays but we want this perfect. We will be having our Kinkos manual available for purchase for those who want to early next week.

Thanks for the update. I can wait for a quality game, and this looks to be really good. Thanks again.

For those who are interested in this part of the Aussie outback:

Chris it is too early for orchids and too cold for goats/pigs. What is your interest at this time of year?

Hi Kent

We are pretty much on the mark. We maybe a day or two off but nothing serious.

David Heath, I have tried to order the the KP manual from Kinko's (I'm in milwaukee, WI), but they don't seem to know about it. I got a link to Kinko's online ordering but the manual doesn't show up there yet. No availible yet?

Do you have solid information on that, FJ? Or are you just speculating? On June 24, David Heath said the release was "about three weeks" away and a couple of days ago he said "maybe a day or two off but nothing serious". Depending on how literal a person wants to be, that implies release next week. If they are actually shooting for the last week in July, as you say, then we are still three weeks away and there has been essentially no progress over the past two weeks.

Several websites have said that the 28th will be the ship date

This also appears to be the date for EYSA and TOS:WS
it would make sense for matrix to bundle all those together and ship them on the same day

So im going with the 28th for now

Why does that make sense? Seems like it would just multiply the problems associated with trying to get a game out the door. I'd think it would be easier if the releases were spaced out a bit. Certainly, it wasn't a rousing success the last time Matix tried to release three games at once. Of course, it beats a year+ without any releases.

They've also implied that the game would be available direct from Matrix a week or so ahead of other sites.
