Anything in the pipeline?

Germany At War: Operation Barbarossa 1941 is an elegant turn-based design, inspired by classics such as Panzer General, but with more of a historical focus. You command the German forces through a branching historical campaign covering the entire 1941 campaign as well as part of the 1942 campaign. Dozens of scenarios stretch from the Soviet border all the way to Archangel and towards Astrakhan, the original military goals of Operation Barbarossa. Step into a wargame where your performance will rewrite history, through an addictive combination of compelling gameplay, realistic events and challenging battles.

steam is a good gaming platform imo, it's easy to use, easy to update as it's auto, and it also installs most of the time what's needed on a given pc O/S etc, but yes it's not for everyone, heard it a few times that still some won't use it or like it, then again many users still won't upgrade from windows XP, but each to there own, no one is right or wrong, it's a users opinion and choice.

It is a good platform if you often use multiplayer, have fast unlimited internet and have no problems with their concept of DRM. They also have some DOS games that I have not seen elsewhere. For those who play against AI and have limited internet (I still remember killing my limit in two hours by installing the Total War series) it is an unused extra feature.

i only very rarely use online / multiplayer, something that doesn't interest me, it's single player only 99% of the time for me, and also not a fan of RTS either, it has to be a even rarer gem for me to buy one let alone play one.

total war series was a great series mind you, not got the last few mind you, as they all went to a DLC money grab and also went away from the core game, playability over mass marking, imo of course [:D]

I installed the games on various computers. I am sometimes away on business and I have no internet. It apparently complicates things with steam.

If the game does not show on another platform I will see.

Total War still ''is'' - at least my machine has no problems with it - and will be for some time. There is a ton load of free mods if you own the game.

I prefer to stay on this game(Germany at War) and to wait for a hypothetical patch...

Hi folks,

@zakblood: thanks for your support at steam!

Thanks also to everybody who supported Phobetor anywhere, be it with compliments, contributions (maps or reports) or by correcting false information.

Army General is released (finally!) so version 1.08 of Germany at War is getting closer.

Still i need a bit more time so please be patient a bit longer.

@terminator: the update will be real and keep your findings rolling, i will get to every single one when i am out of the thick here

@Marechal: will look at your new map variants then, too

All the best!

Hi klhbekool,
ORIGINAL: klhbekool

Thanks Ronald, I always appreciate your responses.

You are welcome. I like to talk about my games so much, that i am forbidden to do so in my private life. Thats why i have to compensate online. [:D]

All the best,
