Oh wow. That's...man. Not too often you get to see a BB have a go at a CV.

Darn Enterprise...she took at least one 36 cm hit, several 20cm hits to the flight deck, and managed to put the fires out and launch an afternoon strike!

I cannot find the Prince of Wales anywhere! If she escapes I will be upset![;)]

Should grab Rangoon and Pegu by barge tomorrow...Allies are retreating in Burma. If I had to guess, he is moving everything to Magwe so the oil fields get damaged.

I will bet you Prince of Wales got away, and the Repulse just went down...the Repulse was the BB ship making 1 hex a day progress.

Repulse does look to be taken off the sunk ships list...

Tracker gave me +979 VP for the day, and lists Saratoga as sunk. 20 points for LCU, 100 points for plane losses, and slightly under 200 points for bases.

Always tough to get a handle on what actually sank, especially with Allied damage control.

In all of the surface combats, did the torpedoes not fire or were there misses?

And how far into the South Pacific are you planning to expand? I understand if you would rather keep this under wraps at this point.

Kiso, Tama and Oi still have torpedoes. Kitakami fired them all. I think every torpedo was fired on a destroyer...rather the cruisers and carriers (exception Leander).

Balikpapen can rearm up to 20cm shells, not torpedoes or 36 cm ammo plus of course fuel. Supply ships are headed in, just not here yet.

Not far really...in the Pacific. I don't want to spend the fuel.[;)]

How were the leader's on your CLs? I know you picked a good TF leader, but maybe the Captain's were 'political appointments.' [:D]

That could be it, as I don't pick high aggression leaders as a general rule. They are good naval skills however.

Well, Lex is down for sure. Raleigh didn't go down or you'd see Seagulls on the lost on ground list. DD Helm sunk also - I've never seen a DD live from heavy/heavy in a combat zone. Van Nes down, Witte de With afloat. Phelps down. See? Easy peasy!

Also, you're on target with Repulse going down and PoW getting away.

What a bloody couple of battles. That's going to hurt him badly in the short and medium term, and sting you in the medium term.
