Bridge repair info

Post by rocketman71 »

As it is now you get info on bridge repair in the reports indicating hex number for bridges under repair or just been repaired. I never keep track of hex numbers. In the game there is already a feature for units that indicate where they are on the map, like "30 km south of Orsha". Could this substitute the hex number for bridge repairs so when reading the report it is easier to immediately know where it is at? And perhaps turn the red icon on the map green on the turn it is fully repaired?

Hi rocketboy,

Yep, that's doable.

How many games of Barbarossa have you played?

Cheers,
Cameron

Sounds great if it can be implemented.

I'm in my third game as the Germans. The first was to learn the game and was quickly abandoned. The second I got destroyed by a Soviet counter-attack in November/December after making good progress but made some mistakes that were proven costly. Now in my third game in August and have a really good position in all theaters but have to be careful with how I proceed. Don't want to rush things too much. The game keeps getting better the more I play, but due to RL issues and a ton of other games I want to play as well I only tend to get through a turn per day. According to Steam I have clocked 100+ hours already. Not many games provide you with that level of playtime and keep getting more interesting. Also, the game finally made me really interested in the Eastern Front after being more of a Western Front grog.
