Why did the unit get an orange stripe?

Post by Fred98 »

The manual says and a tutorial I found confirms, that some scenarios begin with units that have an orange stripe.

This is explained as units that are stationary. I presume they are in a defensive position and the scenario designer deliberately made them stationary.

However, I was moving a unit and suddenly it got an orange stripe! It can no longer more or fight.

What caused this?

It's now in reorganization. Why, I can't be sure by what you're telling. It could have been hit with an air interdiction. But the more likely reason is that you moved it across an enemy position (from ZOC to ZOC). It thereby suffered a Disengagement Attack and got knocked into reorg.
