Returning Player

Post by cantona2 »

I am returning to the AE fold after being out of the loop for a couple of years due to some studies I was carrying out. Can someone please bring me up to speed on the latest patch/beta patch and art that the community is using?

I need to download everything anew as I have a new from PC from my last AE install, likewise where can I download the base game from on the Matrix Website?

Thanks in advance and I look forward to a PBEM once i've shaken the rust off.

Welcome back ! The old timers remember you [:)].

I think you can redownload the game from the members section of the Matrix forum, if you have registered the game. Not sure, I opted for download+cd.

Latest official patch: http://www.matrixgames.com/products/351/downloads/

Latest Beta patch : tm.asp?m=3185062

Art files -there have been many many map mods, look in the mod subforum for users "chemkid" and "MakeeLearn".

Welcome back man. Hey If you bought AE in the beginning like I did, You will need your payment info to recover the game. You'll see what I mean when you take a look. The newer download system doesn't work for older DL's. Different company I think.[:(]....GP

Good to see you again.
Remember you were big on art mods.

Here's the link to air, land, and ships.

Not sure this is true. I was an early AE buyer and just had to re-download for the same reason (new computer after a multi-thread head crash on the old one). Program was registered, so just logged in and followed the logical links to re-download.
