SOS?

you spelled SOS... I don't recall the morse in game - I usually ignore it... Anyone have a clue? My guess is it's just a random Morse sound.

For long long time I have this page in my bookmarks:

Unfortunately the morse code you wrote is not recognized by this (perhaps it means nothing)...

USMC0311,
Are you active or retired?/East or West Coast?

I started out as a grunt and lat moved to the LAVs as a Maintenance Chief. Currently active for about 4 more months before I retire.

The code in UV is not random. The code sent in the search phase of UV is as follows:

BC IM TA 0WBC 031959

The code sent when you hover over exit in the open screen are the letters BD.

I am not sure what the meaning of the code is but I would guess that it might be some inside joke to the UV developers.

This is the 1st time all that time I spent with CW has had a use in a game forum.

PS USMC0311 my father retired USMC after the battle at the Chosin in Korea.

Try this one. You will now have 2 differents morse sounds in your game. I work very well. :)

Thanks for the service to your country. I too was around for the barracks in Lebanon time period. I was in Crete at the time using my CW skills in a non millitary mode (Think puzzle palace). I will let the fact you are from Mich go. The TBDBITL is for The Best Damm Band In The Land, which is The Ohio State Marching Band. In any event maybe some day I can get up to the state-up-north as Woody would say and drop in to your bar.
