Unit Data blocks

Post by Lubaru »

I have always found the data blocks extremely helpful but with lots of units in a scenario the data blocks can almost block out the map. So I normally just keep them turned off or just on the selected unit. Is there a way to selectively turn on/off unit data blocks by unit type. For example in crowded scenarios I like to use the data blocks to help keep track all of my air units but with all other unit data blocks off. Anyone know a way to selectively filter which units show data blocks? If there is not current way to do this I would like to request it as a possible feature for an update.

I always keep it on the lower left of the map - set in Options Map Display.

No I am not referring to the game data block. I am talking about the unit data blocks see hot key asterisk.

Now I get it. Ok, that doesn't seem possible at the moment I think.

Darn. Thats what I was afraid of. Do you agree also that it would be very helpful to have such an option. Do you think the devs would be willing to try and implement such an option. It would really make keeping track of things easier in crowded scenarios without having to click on each unit to verify what it is.
