Bug in PBEM

- sometimes the first game in the list appears duplicated
- when selecting another game than the first and waiting for the pop up "connecting", when the pop up disappears, the first game is duplicated
- when selecting another game than the first, it is always the first which loads

This bug appeared about 1 week ago, I never had it before .

This is REALLY annoying now .
I wanted to resign a game with somebody who played every 3 or 4 days and it resigned me the first game in the list !

I have seen a milder version of this bug. Once or twice I have played my turn and hit end turn.
The screen goes blank for a while but I never get the "game saved" message. When I can get back to my games list, it shows the game as green and I have to play my turn again.
MOST of the time the server is working fine, but this has happened about one time in 50.

I still have the bug . It makes the PBEM practically unplayable if you have several games going on .

Hi Vonik,

I'll have to look into this as it could be a server side error and this makes the issue tricky as some of this is outside of my control. But if I can make sense of it all and put in place the proper safeguards then this will hopefully help.

It went to normal (e.g the bug disappeared) for about 1 week .
But today it is back with vengeance - exactly the same bug and 100% reproductible .

Phase 1

The list displays 2 games . I select the second one . (Note : the tool tip on "Play" displays the info about the FIRST game not the selected second one . Actually even if I select the 3rd or 4th (the red ones), the tool tip on Play shows info about the first one)



Phase 2

I just wait untill the pop up "connecting" appears and when it does , this is the result - the first game is doubled . (Note : the tool tip on "play" displays no information regardless which one of the 3 games is selected) .)



Phase 3

I click exit and relaunch . Go to to phase 1 . (e.g exiting makes the doubling "disappear" but of course I can't still play the second game and after the pop up "connecting" appears, the first game is again "doubled as shown above)

Thanks again for the report and I tried my best to repeat it but to no avail. I'm hoping the next build resolves this for you, but in the meantime one quick question, when you mouse over each individual listed game, is that where the mouse over information popup appears for you? i.e. over the PLAY button for each mouse over?

I only ask as it should be appearing overtop of the individual saved game you are mousing over etc.
