Vichy Creation - Sardinia alignment

Sardinia has been conquered by France.
During Vichy creation, the game asks to which nation should Sardinia be aligned; Germany, Italy, Japan.
Regardless of the choice, the game crashes.

I've checked your save game file you attached, and I'm not seeing the behavior you described at all. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, I'm thinking you may have inadvertently attached the wrong save game file.

The one I'm seeing was saved back in 2013 and was using version 1.0.6. This is ancient!
Italy is still Neutral, and the French are nowhere to be seen in Sardinia. Although I do see the CW has conquered Portugal.

Well heck, you are of course correct. I compressed the wrong file.
Unfortunately, the one I needed has already been overwritten.
