Strategic Command v1.03.04 Beta Hotfix available

Just wanted to post a quick v1.03.04 Beta Hotfix EXE that will bring the Matrix game version up to v1.03.04.03.

The full v1.03.04 Beta is required and will need to be installed as this just updates the game EXE.

Download it from within the following link, rename it to SC3-WWII War in Europe.exe and then copy and paste replacing the current Beta EXE.

Major fixes in this hotfix include:

- left button down error.
- localization error that labeled Shock Armies as Pillboxes.

P.S. This is for the v1.03.04 Beta only, and will be backwards compatible with any v1.03.04 Beta games in progress including PBEM++

P.P.S. For those that want to install v1.04 and still run v1.03 BETA PBEM++ games, after you've installed the full v1.04 update, simply download this BETA game EXE from the link provided above and copy it over to your Matrix Strategic Command installation folder. Since this BETA game EXE is named differently it will not overwrite your v1.04 EXE and you will be able to continue your BETA PBEM++ games by launching this EXE instead.

Localization mods are working again, thanks very much Hubert [&o]

EDIT: However, scrolling is locking up on occasion. After replacing the old exe with this new one, and rebooting, I returned to my previous 653H save game with v.1.03.04. During the first two turns I was unable to scroll after executing an air mission. Bringing up the Diplomacy or Research dialogs returned scroll ability. I then went to the stock 1939 Campaign and on my second air mission the same thing happened.

SDL_GFX.DLL missing
SDL_TTF.DLL missing
SDL.DLL missing
SDL_image.DLL missing
After that nothing happends any more

Is it posible that this happend because i installed the game on my D-Drive?
I can see all the files there.

Just to help me narrow this down, how are you attempting to scroll? Is it by moving the mouse to the outer edges of the screen or by using the arrow keys?

Or perhaps my a map drag to scroll?

Also, after your air mission are you deselecting the unit (if it is still selected) and then attempting to scroll or is it still selected?

This will help me to track it down.

Both.

Three tests with the stock 39 campaign, small sample but same result each time.
Red circled Air Unit hits red circled target, scroll a little right using mouse on screen edge, blue Air Unit hits blue target, now no scroll. Deselecting unit and leaving it selected had the same result. Selecting the Research or Diplomacy tabs in each case restored scroll. I have not tried 1.04 yet. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I've found it and will issue a new hotfix.... however the official v1.04 release has gone out and it does not have this issue in case you want to just update to that one instead.

I'm having the same problem, no scroll nor can you select any other unit after launching an attack. It happened to me while attacking with naval units.
Way to restore scrolling or being able to select a unit was to click on any of the upper or right menus of the screen.

its when i try to aplly the exe to the beta

have downloaded the file again now its working.
This file is a little bigger.
Used an other PC
its the new exe i used now
