There is a bit more it, magic, magic items, no supply rules, heroes, etc... I remember it being hard. [:)] The soundtrack is fantastic. [:)]

Fantasy General was a great game in its day (1996), as it should have been since it was one of the games in the 5-Star General series. I purchased the retail boxed version of it when it was released over 20 years ago and the digital version from Good Old Games when it first became available. It is still a worthy game to play despite its age.

I didn't much care for them. Mostly I played Panzer General, Panzer General II, and Fantasy General with a little Pacific General and Allied General thrown in. But other gamers I knew liked Panzer General 3D and Star General. It's the old story of different strokes for different folks and all a matter of personal perspective.
