Looks like the "Weeklong Deals" will not happen this week...the word is the "Summer Sale" will kick off June 22nd (Thursday) and run through July 5! [:)]

Land Doctrine.

It's NOT on sale, but I found it while looking at games that ARE on sale, so it kind of qualifies for this thread. [;)] It's $5, and there is a demo, so it's free to check it out. The Strategy Gamer gave it an 8 out of 10. It's got a few "not recommended" comments, though.

"Land Doctrine is a 3D strategy game focusing on military optimization. Your task is to design tanks, manage research, equip infantry, determine infantry training, optimize production and build combined arms battalions to occupy and hold cities."

I downloaded the demo and am currently trying to figure out how to play it. There's no tutorial that I can see, but there is an in-game manual.

I'm not expecting much for $5, but I'm hoping it's a sleeper.

Just curious... On Matrix's site, Panzer Corps Gold is 79.99... On Steam, it is getting a 72% (???) discount, but it's original price was inflated to $139.82.... Is this a mistake, or is this like most mattress sales?
