Decisive Campaigns Barbarossa

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong in the combat mode in Decisive Campaigns Barbarossa? I select a unit to attack, press letter A and the hex of the unit that I am attacking is highlighted in red, Ok so far. The problem comes with picking an attacking unit. I click on an attacking unit, press the space bar, The attacking unit DOES NOT appear in the attacking unit box under the defending unit, also when I press ALL, I get the message not available. If it were not for the fact that the same combat format in used in Decisive Campaigns Case Blue and works flawlessly, I would think that it was my computer, I have tried both simulations on two different computers and the results are the same. What am I doing wrong in Barbarossa?
