Seeking experienced Japanese opponent

Post by Sash21 »

Hi folks,

As an experienced Japanese WitP player, i´d like to start finally a match as Allied player.

Here my suggested settings

Scenario #7 - The full campaign (Quite China)
That means neighter movements nor combat actions on Chinese soil, except Hong Kong.

Turn Cycle: 1

Advanced Weather Effects............... Yes
Allied Damage Control.................. No
Player Defined Upgrades................ Yes
Historical First Turn.................. No
December 7th Surprise.................. No
Reliable USN Torpedoes................. No
Realistic R&D.......................... Yes
No Unit Withdrawals.................... No
Reinforcement.......................... +/- 15 days

Fog of War............................. On
Auto Sub Ops........................... Off
Set All Facilities To Expand At Start.. No
Automatic Upgrade for Air Groups....... No
Accept Air and Ground Replacements..... No

Additional rules

a) No low-level bombing for 4E-Bombers
b) Not redo of any turn (non-negotiable)

All settings are negotiable, but rule b). Why?
My last opponent demanded to redo/adjust his turn two times of four turns we´ve done. I accepted it one time (after initial turn!) and regret it shortly afterwards, when he demanded it again (after turn #4).
That was very frustated to me. Therefore rule b) is non-negotiable to me. What a waste of time to play one, who want always redo his turn, if things are not working/satisfying for him as planned. For those people I would recommended to fight vs. AI. Here you can redo again and again until desired results are achieved.

Besides, I am open for other additional rules.

So, if you have many years of WitP pbem-experience (at least one year+), you are ready to start for Japanese High Command and looking for a real challenging, exciting match, contact me right away.

Best regards,
Sash
