Looks like the Kreigsmarine is bigger than the Royal Navy, let's see if the Brits can take the port
The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

I don't think so (i.e., I am sure the RN is still larger), but I'm prepping the Italian Navy for the Atlantic to even the odds. Next post will show the Italian Sub heading out towards the Atlantic. The troops besieging Bergen can't have supply, so they need the RN to weaken the port/troops or they will remain stranded there. At least that is my theory.

Also building Maritime Bombers to create a "Death Zone" that my ships will be safer in and can retreat to, allowing these hit and run tactics.

The 13 USSR Garrisons marked as destroyed in the August 19 reports, plus the 8 on the September 2 map shots is a lot of Garrisons! At least 18 were purchased, I think some Corps would have held the line a lot better.

Building some maritime bombers will be interesting I've considered this tactic aswell but just can't seem to spare the MMP at the moment

I agree they may be slowing the Axis down slightly but it's giving the Germans easy victories and experience

ADD

Keeping U-Boats in columns of 3 to 4 (or even 5) so they cannot be surrounded. AND it makes is much easier to have them escape (hammer one point until it breaks and everyone gets away) just in case they do get surrounded.

Your friend seems to make the same mistake in managing his MPP as he did in his German game .
Where are his armies ? His tanks and mechanised infantry ? He builds fortifications but there are no units Inside . Moscow defended by planes ??
Russia can't be defended by garrisons only ...

I congratulate you to the win - this can't be defended anymore and US are not even yet in the game .

Here is what he lost as of 9/16/41 in larger formations. Don't know if this is low or high. Mark may have been mislead by my use of garrisons as Russia, but even adding one tech level helped me quite a bit, and he hasn't done that yet.

Corps - 16
Armies -7
Mech - 5
