Here is what he lost as of 9/16/41 in larger formations. Don't know if this is low or high. Mark may have been mislead by my use of garrisons as Russia, but even adding one tech level helped me quite a bit, and he hasn't done that yet.

Corps - 16
Armies -7
Mech - 5

The problem is not what he lost . The numbers you give are quite low - he could have lost about the double .
The problem is in what has NOT been lost and what should be defending Leningrad and Moscow .
In my typical Allied game at this time I would have about 3 armies, 2 mech inf and 3 tanks in Moscow defence .
At least 3 armies, 1 tank , 1 mech inf in Leningrad (a bunch in Volkhov with an HQ too) .

I don't understand what he is doing with his MPP . Not research because his techs are very low . Not purchasing units because there are only a few garrisons . Not reinforcing because the garrisons just evaporate .

Thanks crispy131313! BYW - I love your AAR so much with BPINisBACK I have to think of new ways to spruce mine up so I don't look so plain by comparison [:)] Hence my added work on the U-505.

Mark never has followed forums that much. He is retiring very soon, and tells me that he is playing any number of games. He likes board games a lot, so he is always on Hexwar or some other board game conversion program.

FYI, he is fine with me doing this. He did view my prior AAR with him at completion and said he got "a few chuckles," and as long as I have fun doing this and provide some modicum of entertainment, he said he can stand the shame of losing (even though he is not (or ever will) give up.)

At my Victory Dinner at my American Pub, I'll try to convince him of a dual selfie that I can post here! Not that I am confident of total victory, but I doubt he can beat the timeline I set in our first game (conquering Germany at the end of 1943).
