Bookkeeping notes:
Most likely no turn today...as the family is off to Gettysburg, and I am behind in my turn to Obvert. Those turns are a real bear![:D] That's a pun folks![;)]
Yeah, we got it!! [:D]

Massive tank battle north of Shwebo...the Allies don't bomb them, though they are swept by Corsairs and Hellcats. A few Franks fight them getting decent attrition rates.
The AA is super nasty...but the bombers have to hit them to deplete supply and hopefully raise disruption.

Can my armored cars and SNLF 43 infantry take care of these tanks? Don't know, but I expect I will find out!

Burma...3 Allied Corps isolated...feels good for now. But the Allied bombers have been resting now for 3 days. Where will they hit?

The American Subs are concentrating! But the Kitchen Sink doesn't move?[&:]
Sinking sounds were heard during the day...but nothing listed.
The big xAP that had got fires down to 9 takes a turn for the worse and fires run rampant exploding up to 80. She was hit by a sub the other day.[:@]

Another targeted raid...the chances of failure are very high, as planes search out to 4 hexes automatically.
Over Seward the Allies swept with close to 200 fighters today. Japanes LRCAP took the day off. [;)]

WooHoo...more victory points for the Allies. [;)] In my last game, I never got further than the Katsuragi. All other fleet carriers will be built by Jan of 1944.
What a difference it will make I think. Not to mention all the tracom pilots.[:)]

In 4 more days 2 squadrons of Georges show up. Finally.
That will give Jocke something else to worry about.[:)]
Just noticed the Ikoma's TB sentai can upgrade straight to the Grace! Yippee! I resized them to 27, and they will await that plane which will most likely arrive in April of 1944.

State of Japan:
Industry in excellent shape. Very pleased with r&d and the unlooked for appearance of advanced Jills with the Ikoma means that I will be able to upgrade all squadrons to the Grace in April that are capable of Grace upgrades. Tanker losses to subs have been heavy, but there is still more than enough. Really only have about 8 more months of fuel/oil shipments from the SRA (my goal is to keep it flowing till June 44 from Singers).
Reserves: 4 Divisions resting, rebuilding (almost all done), and training (sadly not started yet) at Tokyo. But they are bought out and there is plentiful shipping present.
Marianas: 1 Division+ at all major bases, building up the defense at the others. With the resounding victory at Midway, the immediate pressure is off for now...and with the Deathstar near Horn Island. Had Midway fallen, the road to the Marianas would be wide open...hard to think of a more critical base in 1943 than Midway.
Burma: In a critical phase right now. I have given up trying to protect the industry at either Rangoon or Magwe which are both in perfect shape, but rather I am focusing on destroying some Allied divisions. It is concievable (but unlikely) I wipe out 4+ divisions 100%. I am unclear if this really will mean any slowdown however -- I suspect that the Allies might pull back and launch a super invasion rather than proceed overland. I don't like being in Burma in 1944.
SRA: As always this was my great fear of an Allied advance. Why it hasn't happened is anyones guess.
Biskmark Sea: Fall of Rabaul hurts, but Allies aren't exploiting their victory here.
KB will make Guam and then on to Boela area most likely. However there are a great many surface ships within striking range of Taberfane. I am probably close to my goal of 20 SAG task forces. But do I have the nerve to send them in? Maybe...but it might be better to save them for Luzon/Mindanao or the Marianas.

If seen experienced and smart player tenaciously argue that Midway isn't very important in the game. I agree with you - it is.
