My Directive 21 Game - Part II
[/center]
As of June 25, 19411
This is T1 and the shock levels are advantageous for me so I've set everybody on a three-dot stance and that will need to be adjusted as the shock levels normalize. We've gotten into T4 and the three-dot stance is rare among the fleet now. I'm into the game phase where most of the bombers are on one-dot stances and they are INTercepting mostly. They get tired fast doing that so I need to constantly monotor the squadrons.

I've been doing a bunch of airfield strikes and I've knocked down a lot of Soviet planes but now my boys are tired and need a rest. I've parked them close to a good supply source and expect them to be combat ready in the next turn or two.

Here's the T2 front lines before I've moved anybody. It's panel 1 of the movement movie I'm going to make for this turn.

I've been moving units and the T2 front lines are changing. I've got my recon units out in front and everybody is moving in a gigantic tidal wave, mostly moving to the east.

Here's what's going on in the north. The BB group offshore is helping clear out the coastal road and the CS is lending a helping hand with the Soviet roadblocks.

Here's the turn 2 moves movie.

Here's the front lines for T3 before I've moved anybody.

Lvov is the center of a fierce battle which will be decided soon and the Axis advance advances.

I've been moving units down south and I'm in the process of surrounding the Soviet roadblocks and pressing on. The next major obstacle will be the Stalin Line and I'm probably going to need some Panzers for that. This is tank country anyway. The Hungarians became active this turn.

Here's the total aircraft losses xo far ( T3 ). I'm thinking that mosst of the medium bomber losses were from the T1 air wave airfield strikes.

T3 and I'm sneaking up on Riga. I'd like to surround it before I invest in some serious attacks.

Here's what's going on just SW of Minsk. I'm surrounding the Soviet defenders and destroying them. The fact that I have to deal with these strong points and road blocks is what's slowing down the advance. I'd already be in Minsk if the path was clear.

Here's what Minsk looks like. The Soviets are going light in defenses at Minsk. It's possible that it'll be a push over. I can only hope.

Antonescu and his Romanians are active this turn. I'm opening another front for the Soviets Now they have to defend the river from attacks from the south.

Here's what happening around the Riga area. I'm fighting to get a river crossing so I can continue the advance.

Here's the movement that took place between T2 and T4.

It's T4 and I've been moving units and Minsk and the area around it has changed. I'm hoping to curve around Minsk and surround it before any serious attacks take place.

Here's the north end of the Stalin Line now. The Soviets are defending so well because it's the key to getting into the backfield of the Stalin Line. Here and on the South end as well. Outflanking is to be prefered versus the straight ahead bull your way though the Soviet lines.

Here's a view of the middle of the Stalin Line....I'm not quite up adjacent to it yet but Soviet units are apprearing already which might mean they moved last turn. Gives me some recon value being so close yet not engaged. I'll start looking for weak spots but Elmer is in charge so there's probably not one.

Here's what the south end of the Stalin line looks like. Hungarians and Romanins and Sloviks are helping in their own way. Mostly taking up space in the front lines.
