Editing and Modding

Post by Victor1234 »

Just a quick question with regards to the scenario editor. Will there be UI improvements here as well? I'm particularly thinking of the event engine, which displays only a few events at a time and requires a lot of button pushing depending on the complexity of the scenario. Alternatively, an ability to mod events via a text editor file bundled to the scenario file (ala Paradox games, where you can edit events even in notepad easily) would be nice.

Unofficially, not a lot of changes in the Editor that I can see. Your suggestions would be great, and perhaps some of the TOAW brainpower may be applied to that in the next patch or so. (have you ever seen a new game without a patch soon to follow?)

Stay tuned.
