Over the last couple months, I've been working on "Narcos". A very good couple of seasons. Well done.

Not a bad list. I'd quibble with some of the ordinal rankings, perhaps replace one or two with some others, but certainly a nice start. [8D]

Next up this evening its Disney's Moana [:)] Looking forward to this - although it doesn't seem to have got the type of fanfare Frozen did. Oh well, here's hoping.

"Le Chagrin et la Pitié" ("The Sorrow and the Pity") by Marcel Ophüls.

One of the best documentaries I've ever watched.
The new Bluray transfer is superb and noticed a lot of improvements when comparing with the old DVD version.

And...?
...and, I think it was an enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half. Not Disney's best, largely because the music (with one exception) had all the feeling of a 'II Movie'. But the characters were engaging - and there was some humour too which helps - and the story was interesting enough (but see below).
But the two biggest 'problems' (not ones that ultimately spoiled the film fortunately) I had with the film is that I could not tell the difference between Moana and Rapunzel. They sounded similar (I actually had to check they were different actresses), their mannerisms were even similar on occasion too. That was a little off putting, as was the initial part of the film which was like watching Finding Nemo on land - just substitute the Reef for the drop off.
But another plus, How Far I'll go was downloaded straight to ipod after the film. My Disney playlist is now up to 38 toons [:)]

My kids and wife were singing 'Shiny' throughout the house for a week after we saw it. [8D]

Pete's Dragon Spoiler Alert
I watched Pete's Dragon yesterday with the little warspites. What a sweet little film that was, although that must have set a new record for Disney in terms of time taken once a film has started to pull at the old heartstrings.... Surprised by its low rating on IMDB, it was a hit chez warspite anyway.

Natch. But what about anyone, in anyway connected to Shhoooorrrnnn Beeeaaannnn?
And more importantly, did the film grab your attention by any beeewwwbbbs necessary?
