Patch 1.01.65

Just installed the new patch and it has stopped the game from working, all I get is a black screen and music after pressing the 'Play' button. I am using Windows 10 and Nvidia if that helps!

Any assistance would be appreciated, thanks.

Compatibility mode should not be required for a game that is still being patched and sold.....

The issue is not on the game side, you should rather put the blame on Microsoft and the last update Windows 10 (Creator's edition) and the new card drivers.
As for the remark about Windows 8 compatibility itself, I honestly can't see your point.
It's something that Windows permits to do and it doesn't affect the game performance.
