[ANSWERED] Air Refueling - Planes going to refuel before needed

How do I get planes to stop going to get fuel (when not near BINGO). and/or how can I put an order to which units refuel first. I had an F-35 go down because could not get ahead of others (others that had way more fuel and did not need to go off mission, yet were doing such)

You can use the Tanker Planner to set the fuel % where planes contact tankers [8D]

in the mission tanker entry there is a configure button, use that to set what fuel% they will go to the tanker at.

alternatively what i generally do is set up a tanker track 50~70% of the way to the target, then once all the strikers take off bandbox them and use refuel at tanker ---> select tanker from mission ---> mission name and they will head right to the tanker, refuel, strike, then go home.

an option to always have fighters hit the tanker before ingress would be nice though. though i'm not sure if the game tracks when ingress actually is. so maybe not possible. would shave off a little bit of semi-necessary micro though.

yes you can cancel, but its not easy.

First select the group and set refuel/unrep to "Not allowed", then press U in order to unassigned the group. The group will now either RTB due to lack of fuel, or fight if enough fuel is present.
