must be, even with the previous financial doping of PSG, there is no way can this be fitted within any interpretation of their income? Think, as with Man City in the UK, its pretty clear the oil club owners have just decided the rules are a minor inconvenience and if they all break it - who will do something about it? On past form not the national Football Associations and clearly not UEFA.

Obviously keeping up with the current tradition of Scottish teams in Europe.

Still proud of the English women's team despite losing in the semi. Will have a chance to cheer them on in November I think, when they take on Kazakstan in a World Cup qualifier. Game is being played in Colchester so might have a day out and catch the football as well.

Best wishes,
Steve

Ah, opening day of the season... This is why God invented Saturday afternoons...

Currently listening to Southend v Blackburn on radio. Southend 2-0 up at half time.

Best wishes,
Steve

Bah!

Football... such a dumb game.

Edward IV of England had the right of it when he stated: "No person shall practice...football and such games, but every strong and able bodied person shall practice with the bow for the reason that the national defence depends upon such bowmen."

Eastbourne 2 Braintree 3

Braintree come back from 2-0 down to take all three points. Life is good.

Good luck tomorrow Orm. Tough game away from home.

Best wishes,
Steve

Try American Football (or Baseball for that matter)...[:)]
Unfortunately, it is not practical for a couple of reason. The main one is that the matches played in the US is in the middle of the night. The other is the high cost.

Despite the late time I used to watch a few matches of American Football every year. But then it became to popular here so they put it in a expensive, minor, channel. And the only thing they got is in the middle of the night. And just a few months a year. Maybe one should buy it over the internet and watch on the computer. But then I need a new computer. If it is even available that way. Anyway, to much effort for just a few matches a year. Although I do miss it.

And baseball is not popular enough. And I have no idea if I would like it or not. But I do suspect that I am not patient enough.

As an alternative you could always try supporting Malmo....

The comments on football are on the same level as those on politics and should be banned by Matrix Games.

How good is SC Braga? And when does the Portuguese season begin?

Sorry I cannot honestly answered this question without some prejudice...
They are trying to be the fourth team in Portugal. [:@]
Obviously, every enlightened mind knows that CF Belenenses is the fourth team. [:'(]

The Portuguese league will start tomorrow.

Does anyone here use the Togga app for EPL fantasy football?

I am in a few leagues including the Men in Blazers league which is a perfect XI format and is great fun.

A good start - unlike Plymouth [:@] (but a win and a draw for Exeter and Torquay).

Anyways, one week to go to the Premiership and, having sold Kyle Walker, we have lost Kieran Trippier - or Trippiay as he is known on some channels [;)]. Let's hope its not serious - but never a good sign when your player appears with crutches and a boot [:(].

I hate football.

However, I already found out how good they are.

Thank you.

We need all the luck we can get. Especially since we have had a tough couple of weeks and not been either lucky nor successful.

Since our Fantasy Premier League folded last season, I thought I would set up a simple League were we only have to predict the results of the PL matches.
It's the same system that had been used for the European Championship 2016.

Would like to see some of you football aficionados join the league and have some fun.
