This is the largest German cv reduction I can remember in this war

I continue attacking this flank of the Saratov area.

Sort of hit here and then next turn finds another spot away from recent strong reinforcements

final Saratov looks like Silly is giving up on the East side of the Volga south of Saratov.

I will continue down RR and look to strike west and get bridgehead over the river come spring.

Iv'e formed another tank army.

Besides my pole reinforcement (will I still get them - Poland is very far away?), I could use one more infantry army HQ as well.

Keep looking for weakness and get some wins under the belt and reduce morale of German units which lose the battles.

When you lose Moscow a game of musical chairs will begin at Stravka. Just leave it alone, when you get the initiative back and begin to win battles then whomever you pick will stay for awhile.

With luck I did not get any attribute reduction.

Zhukov became Western front hq, although I was planning to give him another front which I was going to load up with my unaffiliated tank armies.
May still do but I am now out of ap for this turn.

so I was going to send armor down river and pressure directly on Stalingrad.

Then the light bulb (on/off) toggled again.

Silly left his precious hill hex guarded by inferior minor and a mountain division

I attack and will stack with enough armor that rough hex cannot be retaken.

Thus Germans are now in for slugfest around Saratov.[:)]
