Not much happened on the 15th and the 16th. One odd event was that Oosthaven flipped to UK Southeast Asia after the 91st NG crossed into Merak. This mod adds many dot hexes, and the ones near South Sumatra were not yet captured. The hex of Martaban in Burma did the same thing. Perhaps some script should be added so the ownership of an unoccupied full base hex causes dot hex owned by the other side to flip with it? It is also odd because a Japanese unit landed on Panay a few days back and now Allied bases on Los Negros islands have been flipping to hostile control.
On the 17th, the Ichang breakout units reached Deng Hsien.

Meanwhile, a Japanese NG fragment from Tandjoeng crossed into Tarakan and took minor disablements.
Then came the big attack in Chu Hsien the next day.

The accompanying Email had this to say:
I continue to be amazed as a "historically accurate mod" how flawed and allied biased it is. It is absolutely laughable.
I'll get back to this.
After they were kicked out, the units moved in the direction of a road leading to Shinpang.
While this was going on, I had been getting scattered intelligence messages talking about Japanese units loaded to attack at Muntok on Bangka island. Thus, I sent the many idle Submarines at Batavia up the intercept. I also had four Motor launches that arrived in Singapore and were languishing in Pinkal to the immediate south. Luck was not with us, as the Japanese invasion group had been unloaded by the 18th. On the next day they attacked:

We had another email conversation:
Another 230k fuel points vanish. This mod sucks
I should have been more thorough in checking for bugs.
Not your fault. I agreed to it. I probably should have read the 600 pages of posts.
If you don't mind I would like to take a day or two and redefine my strategy and approach. The operation I was about to launch won't work now.
He mentioned the fuel disappearance problems in a prior Email. It is unfortunate that these glitches are in the mod. I have been following Larryfulkersons RHS 129 AAR as Japan to increase my understanding of the Japanese situation in this mod. That thread also mentioned resources being swallowed up at random. He also said something about Japan's economy potentially crashing by late 1942. This does not bode well. I really think part of the reason Bristolduke is getting bogged down is also due to a lack of AV advantage. On the latest turn I went through there was this:
