Ground striking German spear head sounds smart, they have to use fighter. When they attack, France has higher chance to get bomber through in ground support.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

You can start impulse, no naval moves or air missions for USSR or France.
I will soon post rail moves and you cans end me back after you have done land moves.

Actually you can play entire impulse, there is not much what USSR and France can do.
USSR rails INF from Vladivostok as far west as possible.
Japs have lots of land units, ComChinese are going to retreat. See maps for land moves.
In west USSR moves:
5-4 INF from SE of Sofia to Burgas and HQ from west of Sofia one hex to east.
French land moves:
GAR in Paris one hex to east.
AA gun from 55,32 to 54,31 (to same hex with Dakar MIL)
CAV div from Metz one hex to west
INF div from Strasbourg one hex to west
France uses Bilbotte to reorganize ARM and artillery.

ORIGINAL: AllenK
I'm off out for a couple of hours.
CW & US Combined, China Land.
CW sends 4 CVP's with a NAV factor to Port-Strike Kiel. Leave the Gladiator on deck. That's for CAP over the CW forces in Belgium if necessary.
That leaves 1 air move. I think I need to ground strike the 8 factor ARM and MECH in the hex they have just taken. If they aren't stopped they can get a 3:1 minimum +2 + Blitz bonuses. If the Blitz works and they send through 16 factors, I think they will overrun that lone Bordeaux MIL. Send the DB-7 and escorted by the Spitfire. Hopefully Germany will have to commit the remaining Me-109, leaving your remaining LND an easier chance against a Bf-110.
Naval move - move Queens from Arabian Sea to Suez.
Catch up in a bit.
Bordeaux MIL is in city, they can't overrun it.

Good luck for port strike and ground strike!

5-4 INF from SE of Sofia to Burgas and HQ from west of Sofia one hex to east.
I need to check on this. The HQ is already one hex east of Sofia. Do you want to move it further east onto the mountain hex with no railway? If not, where?

My bad. One more hex to east.

Disappointing port strike but glad I only went with 3 CVP's in the end.
Not sure whether the ground strike will have done enough to put off an attack but it had to be tried. It'll be in the lap of the dice gods.

Ground strike costed quite a lot, but French are more than thankful for CW!

RE: ALLENK, MAYHEMIZER AND THEIR ALLIES ONLY (Reverse AAR)
Edit: I forgot we have 2 threads.
Game 1:
Bad weather, turn is about to end... I will do some semi-risky attacks.
Germany takes land action.
No ground strikes for Germany.
Attacking odds are not going to be good (something like 3:1). Should we risk Italian Stuka in north to ground strike 4-3 INF in 45,47? USSR might intercept or not. USSR can send TB-3's to ground support and they might want to save their fighter to fight with German Bf110.
Rail moves:
3-1 GAR from Danzig Poland to port Aarhus in Denmark.
3-3 ART from Spain to Rumania (same hex with Rumanian HQ).
ENG from Saragossa to Rumania (same hex with Rommel).
I need to do my land moves later. Tonight I'm not able to play at all.

Might be easier to just use the one thread and label each post Game 1 or Game 2.
Since the Stuka will be 3 factors attacking a 4 strength unit, might it be better to use it for ground support? Ground strike = 30% chance of getting +1. Ground-support = 75% chance of increased odds column.
Do you want to try risky -2 air to air in Biscay (depending on search rolls) or shall we call stumps in that area of operations and bring the planes back to base and more defensively orientated duties?
Whilst there are land moves I would like to make with Japan, I need a naval to get ships back from far-flung places and hopefully the turn will end before the Allies can make any more moves.
Italy will go combined but not much to do. Graziani will rail to Toulouse. That's about it unless you want to move anything in north Spain.

No Italian ground support, that gives -1 to odds.
I want risky air combat in BoB. It can't be more risky what you will see in the east in hope of double impulse.
No need for any Italian land moves right now.

Okay, I'll ground strike.
Just realised the HQ can't rail out until the two air units at Cadiz are reorganised.

Game 1:
Should we defend France so that Italy defends Mediterranean coast and Germany everything else? That way Italy can move units to quickly to Italy if Allies attack there. Italian MTN can stay in Pyrenees. What fo you think about this?
Germany will send a fighter to Vichy so that Allies can't bomb it with air combat.

Makes sense but before the Germans redeploy, we could do with evicting the Spanish from Bayonne. That way we would have a continuous defence in the mountains.

Taking Bayonne would be great. Germany can attack once and try to take it.

Can Italy also leave one HQ (Inf) to Pyrenees? We have to make sure units are in supply also in rain.
Germany leaves on HQ to Pyrenees and another one goes to USSR front. Rumanian HQ goes to Normandia.
