JF43 i13: Axis Actions
Japan flew a LND with naval factors to the Solomons, moved 2x CAs to the Coral Sea, and moved a CV from Japan to the SE Indian Ocean.
Germany flew a 6 pt. fighter to the Bay of Biscay 1-box.

JF43 i13 Possible Naval Combats.

First up is the Solomons. The axis find, make it a naval air battle and sink the CP and abort the CA. (your bomber if it would have flown, would have had no effect on the sub). If you would have wanted to fly it, feel free to edit it out to the sea zone.

Next up was the Indian ocean where a reverse 10/1 split results in nobody seeing anybody.
Japan chose no searching in the Bismarck Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
Coral Sea rolls of 9/7 resulted in no combat.

In the European theater you have some reactions possible.

1) Faeroes Gap.
Two CW bombers could react. Instructions?

2) The Bay of Biscay. Both the USA and CW have reaction options. The Germans reacted out another fighter bomber (all air shown in the image). Instructions?

1. Faeroes Gap. Swordfish reacts to the 0-box. Sunderland to the 3-box. If the searches go the allies way and they have enough SP's to confidently rid this sea area of the German u-boats then fight, otherwise avoid.

2. Bay of Biscay. RAF Tomhawk P-40 and Spitfire VB to the 0-box. USAAF P-40B to the 2-box. Avoid combat if possible.

1. Faeroes Gap. Swordfish reacts to the 0-box. Sunderland to the 3-box. If the searches go the allies way and they have enough SP's to confidently rid this sea area of the German u-boats then fight, otherwise avoid.

The Sunderland can only reach the 2-box from Iceland (10 range on reaction, 5 to the Faeroes gap is one short of the 6 needed to move to the 3-box.

Decided you would fly it to the 2-box.
Search rolls of 1/1 resulted in both finding with not enough surprise to do anything.
Naval Air results in the subs taking a 2A. The saved the first and aborted the second.
2nd round searches of 8/4 resulted in no contact

You had two Spitfire VB, I flew the one located on the English Channel.
Search rolls of 6/3 allowed you to avoid the combat.

Yes it was. The Chiefs definitely pulled that one out. I'm sure, though, Brady, Belichick and the rest of the Patriots will make the playoffs.

Flew and Italian and German fighter in as counter interceptors.
Went as well as it could have.
Bomber cleared and then disorganized all organized units in the hex.

JF43 i13 Land Attacks.
Only two land attacks. The Japanese are invading an out of supply island just north of Easter New Guinea (in the Bismarck Sea) - automatic. And the Germans are attacking the units just disrupted on the Iberian Peninsula.

Also of interest. Four of the German land moves occurred in the Iberian peninsula to move divisions around to improve the attack. The other two took place in Russia, one relatively minor near the Rummanian HQ and the second is shown below. Resulted in the Germans capturing one of the hardest to take (when defended) hexes on the map and the overrun of Russian long range bomber.

Bradley provides HQ support, ships provide maximum shore bombardment support and all planes that can fly as fighters do so and target the axis bombers.
