General Questions

Post by Jack59 »

1. In the attack (or bottom) screen is there a list of all the abbreviations and what they mean?
2. During unit production, the screen lists the units available and the time in production. I noticed that you can still build units when the list is says (0). I assume if you build extra garrisons you have less other types of infantry units available. Is this right? [&:]

Hi Chrys131,

The Matrix patch download is for the Matrix version of the game only. To update to the v1.09 Beta on Steam, please try the following instructions:

Hi Jack59

On 1, Page 20 of the Manual provides an explanation, especially sections 3.6.7 Combat Interface Definitions and 3.6.9 Target Types.

For 2), if you've elected to play with the Soft Build Limits option enabled, this simply allows you to surpass the hard limits for each unit type and there is usually a slight penalty that is applied, i.e. an increasing cost is applied for each unit type purchased beyond the hard limit.

It won't have an effect on other unit types and by that I just mean that purchasing extra Corps will not limit how many extra Armies you would like to buy and so on. The Soft Build Limit applies to all unit types once enabled.
